PUPILS from Musselburgh Grammar School studied from home today due to crippling levels of staff absence related to Covid-19.
High school pupils in S3 worked remotely yesterday but returned to classrooms this morning, however, S2 pupils studied from home today.
It comes as hundreds of students from high schools across the county were forced to open their school books from home after returning to education following the Christmas break last week.
Currently, youngsters in S4 to S6 at North Berwick High School and Dunbar Grammar School continue to learn from home and are expected to do so for another week.
Meanwhile, today there were five classes at primary schools in East Lothian who were working from home due to staff shortages – nursery classes were also affected.
