MORE than 200 young dancers from East Lothian, Midlothian and Edinburgh took to the stage at The Brunton in Musselburgh for their Christmas Showcase.
Students at the Alpha Dance Academy, they attend classes at The Fraser Centre in Tranent and Musselburgh Congregational Church Hall, as well as at Joppa, Danderhall and Bonnyrigg.
The showcase, which is enjoyed by family and friends, is an annual event but it has been two years since the last show due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The dancers, aged two to 18, performed ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop and cheerleading.
“They all absolutely loved it,” said Lorraine Frankitti, principal teacher.
