POLICE will monitor a busy Haddington junction over the festive period after concerns about near misses involving pedestrians and vehicles.
Complaints have been made to community police officers about drivers failing to stop at the junction of Hardgate, Sidegate and High Street.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland told the Courier: “Local officers will be out in the coming weeks monitoring the area and drivers who fail to comply may be issued a fixed penalty ticket.”
