A TRIO of festive favourites are being held to help Gifford get into the Christmas spirit.
Village residents come together tomorrow (Friday) for the switch-on of the Christmas lights.
Debbie Mercer, acting headteacher at Yester Primary School, has the honour of switching on the lights at 6pm.
Businesses throughout the village are also doing their bit from serving mulled wine to offering discounts.
From December 13 to 18 is the traditional Christmas post before a carol service takes place round the village’s Christmas tree on December 23.
