THE public is to be consulted on a plan for a meeting centre for people with dementia, their friends and family in Musselburgh.
East Lothian Health and Social Care Partnership is working with Musselburgh Area Partnership, Dementia Friendly East Lothian, Open Arms Carers and Outside the Box to develop the new facility.
A spokesperson for the project said: “Everyone is invited to share their views on activities and supports for the meeting centre, and the things which are important to people living with dementia.”
Members of the public can speak to staff from Outside the Box near the box office at The Brunton today (Thursday) until 2.30pm and tomorrow (Friday) from 10.30am to 2.30pm.
They will also be at Musselburgh Library on Monday and next Wednesday from 9am to noon.
