WINTER vegetables and Christmas gifts are among the goods on offer at Haddington Farmers’ Market on Saturday.

Haddington Pipe Band and Clark Community Choir will also be providing entertainment at the market, which forms part of East Lothian’s Saltire Festival.

A wide range of seasonal produce from beetroot and Brussels sprouts to pumpkin and parsnips will be on offer, as well as a range of meats, chutneys, pies and preserves.

Local grower Letham Plants will have a selection of wreaths and seasonal plants, while there will also be handmade soap and locally designed screen prints.

The Woodland Trust will be on hand to explain how trees can help combat the climate crisis in its Big Climate Fightback campaign.

East Coast Buses will bring one of its vehicles to promote contactless travel and local bus services.

The market will be running from 9am to 1pm on Court Street.
