A yellow weather warning for wind has been put in place by the Met Office for East Lothian
DELAYS, disruption and strong winds are set to hit East Lothian over the weekend, according to a yellow weather warning from the Met Office.
The warning begins at 12am on Friday and runs until 6pm on Saturday.
As well as covering all of East Lothian, the warning covers the whole of Scotland and Northern Ireland.
A period of very strong winds are set to develop across northern Scotland on Friday afternoon then extend south during the evening.
Delays on roads and rail are likely.
