IMPROVEMENTS could be made to a prominent bar and restaurant in Tranent.
Plans to improve the toilets and kitchen facilities at The Brig Inn have been lodged with East Lothian Council’s planning department.
Drawings included with Caledonian Heritable Ltd’s application show a new servery in the premises on the town’s Bridge Street.
Extended toilets would also be created, as well as improved kitchen facilities on the first floor.
A new decked area would be constructed outdoors, with retractable roofs.
A decision on the proposals is expected shortly before Christmas.
