PUPILS at Knox Academy are ditching school uniforms tomorrow (Friday) to raise money for charity.
Children in Need will be marked at the secondary school with a dress down day.
Sue Cook, headteacher at the Haddington school, noted that more than £725 was raised at the school for the good cause last year.
She said: “Our senior pupils will be ‘dressing up’ in a variety of fun costumes and organising a bake sale.
“This day is always a lot of fun at school, as we come together as a school community to support a great cause – it is also great for everyone’s morale.
“It also links directly with our school vision of ‘kindness’ and value of ‘community’.”
