A MUSSELBURGH man has been placed on the sex offenders’ register after he was caught with child abuse images.
Scott Gray admitted possessing the indecent images of children over a 12-month period when he appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last month.
Sheriff Douglas Keir had deferred sentence for social work reports to be prepared and Gray was back in the dock for sentencing last Friday. The 46-year-old was placed on an 18-month supervision order and on the sex offenders’ register for the same length of time.
Gray, of Hercus Loan, pleaded guilty to possessing indecent images of children at his home address between August 4, 2019, and July 7 last year.
