TRANENT residents better watch out, they better not cry, they better not pout, and we’re telling you why...because Santa Claus is coming to town – again!
Plans are currently under way for a tour of the town by Santa Claus and his elves this Christmas, after the success of the tour last December, when Santa and friends spread festive cheer to children and adults alike.
This year, he will return with a new route around the town.
The event, organised by local resident Paula Waugh, will see the route, date and times announced in early December.
Paula confirmed that Eva the Sat-Nav Elf would update residents about the whereabouts of Santa on social media every 15 minutes, to ensure people would not be standing out in the cold for too long.
She added: “We look forward to spreading the Christmas cheer around all the good folk of Tranent.”
