DECADE-long efforts to provide shoppers on the east end of North Berwick High Street a cash machine which does not charge for withdrawals has paid dividends.
Manz Ahmed, manager of Nisa Local, which currently hosts a fee-charging ATM on its wall at 18-26 High Street, said: “After 10 years of trying we have finally found a company willing to put a free cash machine on the east side of High Street.”
Installation of the ATM will take place in spring next year.
