A CHRISTMAS market and craft fayre will take place in the car park of a county vets to raise funds for Pets As Therapy.
The Tranent branch of Dunedin vets, on Haddington Road, will play host to a Christmas market – with a raffle, tombola and local craft stalls – on November 7 from 10am to 4pm.
All money raised will go to Pets As Therapy, a charity founded in 1983 which largely depends on the kindness of volunteers across the country.
Pets As Therapy volunteers visit prisons, day care centres, hospices, schools, hospitals and residential homes to allow people to interact with pets.
Since the charity was first founded, 25,000 dogs and 104 cats have provided therapeutic visits to places all over the UK.
Anyone interested in hosting a table at the fayre should email admin@dunedinvets.co.uk
