A MOTORIST returned with a hammer after a disturbance took place opposite Boots pharmacy in Musselburgh yesterday, Sunday (October 17).
At about 12.45pm in the High Street, a member of the public became embroiled in a confrontation with the occupants of a white Ford Fiesta, described as having a loud exhaust.
East Lothian Police reported that the vehicle and occupants left the immediate area.
But, a short time later, the driver returned in possession of weapon, described as a hammer, where a further disturbance took place.
The suspect male is described as white, believed to be 26-years-old, 5ft 10, slim build, wearing a blue puffer jacket, dark shorts and trainers.
East Lothian Police stated: "A number of lines of enquiry are currently being investigated, however, if anybody is able to provide any information in relation to this incident, please contact Police Scotland on non-emergency number 101 quoting incident number 1611 of 17/10/2021."
