A COUNTY man has been placed on a community payback order after admitting behaving aggressively towards his partner.
Callum Sinclair, of The Inveresk Estate, shouted, swore and adopted an aggressive manner during the incident.
Sinclair also uttered offensive remarks and struck a door at an address at Seggarsdean Crescent in Haddington on July 7.
Sinclair, 34, pleaded guilty to the amended offence during an appearance at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last Thursday.
He also admitted breaching bail conditions which had been imposed at the court on August 16 not to contact or approach the woman.
Sinclair breached the order by being caught in her company on August 30.
Sheriff Roderick Flinn ordered Sinclair to be placed on a 30-month supervision order.
The sheriff deferred sentence on the breach matter to run alongside reviews of the community payback order, with the first being held in December.
