GHOSTS and ghouls could soon be haunting shop windows in time for ‘Haddowe’en’.
Businesses are being encouraged to mark Hallowe’en in Haddington with interesting window displays.
Pat Lemmon, a member of the town’s community council, said that entries needed to be in by tomorrow (Friday).
She added: “Judging will take place on October 28.
“This has been sponsored by Haddington Rotary and it was felt that it has been such a miserable 18 months, so let’s promote Hallowe’en in the town and make it a fun place to be and increase business at the same time.”
Rosettes will be awarded to the best businesses.
Haddington Farmers’ Market will also be taking place on Hallowe’en on Court Street.
