NORTH Berwick Golf Club is inviting residents and local organisations to apply to its community fund.
Since the fund was set up in 2016, the club has received 34 applications and has helped 25 local organisations with more than £19,500 of support.
The Firth of Forth Lobster Hatchery, East Lothian Yacht Club, Law Primary School, Coastal Communities Museum and North Berwick Community Council are among those to have benefited.
A club spokesperson said: “Given the current climate, the club would like to continue to support local organisations. Having the ability to improve the lives of others within the local community is a privilege and one that comes with its own sense of obligation.
“For many local organisations, small donations can make a startling difference to their ability to serve the community and continue the excellent work they do.
“We believe that if we can in some way benefit local organisations, it can help cement their future helping the community. One of our overarching aims it to build a lasting legacy in the local area.”
