TRANENT and Elphinstone residents are being encouraged to nominate their most inspiring volunteers for an award ceremony held in November.
Tranent and Elphinstone Community Council is inviting people to nominate a volunteer, sporting success or community group deserving of recognition for their contributions to the community.
The biennial Achievement Awards are held on November 4, with nominations closing on October 11.
Categories are sporting, business, youth, community group/individual and special achievement.
Forms are available from Tranent Library, Tranent Post Office, East Lothian Co-operative Bowling Club and Roots and Fruits – completed forms can also be left at post boxes at these locations.
