PARENTS and carers dropping children off at school are reminded of restrictions on certain streets.
In Haddington, restrictions are in place on Neilson Park Road, Victoria Road and Wemyss Place.
Vehicles – with certain exceptions – are banned on the three streets at school drop-off and pick-up times in a bid to improve pedestrian safety.
During term time, vehicles are banned 8.30-9.30am and 3-4pm Monday to Thursday.
On Friday, vehicles are banned 8.30-9.30am and 11.45am-12.45pm.
A police spokesperson said officers would be “out monitoring” the order and “take enforcement action as required”.
