YOUTHS are gathering behind Windygoul Primary School, Tranent, drinking alcohol, smoking and causing vandalism, according to East Lothian Police.
They have also built a “gang hut”, damaging nearby trees to do so.
The area is now being highlighted by the police and East Lothian Council wardens as a place of interest.
A spokesperson added that officers and the wardens will be working together to “regularly patrol the area and deal with any incidents robustly”.
