AN 18-YEAR-OLD male was arrested and later released in connection with an assault on a woman in Haddington.
The alleged incident took place in Neilson Park on Saturday evening. A section of the park was roped off by police on Sunday and Monday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed that an 18-year-old man had been arrested in connection with the incident and had been released pending further enquiries.
There have been no charges and enquiries remain ongoing.
