Christmas Lights
FESTIVE cheer will be brought to Tranent this year, with the town’s community council confirming the date for its Christmas lights switch-on.
Tranent and Elphinstone Community Council has announced it will take place on November 28 in Tranent and December 3 in Elphinstone.
Planning is at an early stage.
Meanwhile, building services company MPACT has agreed to put up the Christmas lights in Tranent and Elphinstone for the next two years.
The community council passed on its appreciation to the company for the work it will carry out.
