A BRAND-NEW inflatable obstacle course comes to North Berwick Sports Centre today (Friday), with operators enjoyleisure calling for competitors to “hold their nerve” and take up the challenge.
Measuring 15 metres long, the Commando AquaRun has two lanes and hosts a variety of obstacles.
An enjoyleisure spokesperson described it as the “ultimate aquatic challenge event”, with fitness, strength, balance and co-ordination all tested.
The inflatable will also encourage people to consider water safety, assess risk, develop communication skills, become aware of their own abilities and build confidence.
It has been brought to the sports centre thanks to a donation from North Berwick Trust, with hopes that it will benefit people’s physical and mental wellbeing.
As well as being available to hire for birthday parties, it will be available at North Berwick Sports Centre on Fridays from today (September 3) between 12.30pm and 1.30pm. Advanced booking is recommended by calling 01620 820730 or at enjoyleisure.com
All participants must be able to swim and feel confident in the water.
