A MAN was taken to hospital after ingesting a large amount of sea water in North Berwick on Sunday.
The RNLI, Coastguard, Scottish Ambulance Service and police were called to the beach at Tantallon Terrace near the Glen Golf Club.
Two children and the man had got into difficulty in the sea.
All made it safely out of the water, with the man taken to hospital for precautionary reasons.
