EAST Lothian Council is recruiting a wave of new youth workers and community development staff in the Preston Seton Gosford (PSG) area.
Emma Brown, the ward’s Connected Communities manager, highlighted job vacancies for youth workers and relief community development assistance (CDA) staff.
Casual youth work staff are being scouted as part of the wider Connected Communities team in East Lothian.
Emma said: “We are currently recruiting for relief CDA staff to support the four community centres in PSG.
“We have a number of vacancies due to staff securing new roles.”
Both job roles require employees to become a protecting vulnerable group (PVG) scheme member or undergo a PVG scheme update if already a member.
