A TEENAGER who shouted abusive comments at police after she had been arrested following a rowdy house party has been admonished after she stayed out of trouble for six months.

Sophie Dudgeon made threats to kill police officers’ children during her abusive outburst after she had been taken to St Leonard’s Police Station in Edinburgh last year.

Dudgeon, of Ormiston Road, Tranent, also called the officers “****ing paedos” and shouted comments including: “I wish your kids will die.”

The 19-year-old had been arrested following a party that had got out of control at a property on Haddington High Street in June 2020.

Two men, Nathan Hill and Ajdin Husic, were also arrested by police after they had thrown a washing machine out of the top-floor window onto the street below.

The pair were sentenced at Edinburgh Sheriff Court earlier this year and Dudgeon had her sentence deferred for her to be of good behaviour.

The court was told last week that the teenager had not troubled the police since the party last year and she was warned of her future behaviour and admonished.

Dudgeon had admitted shouting, swearing and uttering threats towards police officers and their families on June 19 last year in Haddington.
