AN INITIATIVE to “slow down fast fashion” has been launched in Dunbar.
Rebellious Threads is running a series of workshops in Lauderdale Park for children, families and anyone else who loves fashion but hates waste.
In 2019, billions of pounds were spent on clothes, with more than 200 million items then sent to landfill.
Rebellious Threads will meet in the Dunbar park 2-4pm every Tuesday and Thursday throughout July and offer workshops looking at sewing, dying, re-styling and pattern design.
