Plans lodged for snack bar
PLANS for a snack bar to be located near Morrison’s Haven, Prestonpans, have been submitted to East Lothian Council.
It is proposed that a mobile food kiosk on the grass verge to the right hand side of the opening to Morrison’s Haven car park sells hot and cold filled rolls, and hot and cold drinks.
The planning application noted that there would be “no fried food, packaging will be made of recycling material when available, and all rubbish will be removed and recycled daily”.
The planning application added: “The proposed opening times are March to October – 8.30am-7.30pm; and October to March – 8.30am-4.30pm.”
The planning application was lodged on June 17 and a decision is expected next month.
