A MAN who went missing near Dundee on Sunday was seen in North Berwick’s Tesco store twice in the past 24 hours with local residents being asked to remain aware and help track him down.
David James Montgomery was last seen leaving Bruach Bar in Broughty Ferry where he works, found to the east of Dundee, on Sunday at about 5.20pm heading towards Dundee city centre.
David, who is six foot three inches tall and originally from Edinburgh, was wearing all black, a black cap, hoodie and skinny jeans.
He has not not contacted friends or family since he was reported missing and some of his friends have appealed for people to help find him.
But David was seen in North Berwick’s Tesco store at 9pm yesterday evening (Monday) and again this morning (Tuesday) with CCTV footage at the store confirming it was him.
His father, who is also called David, said: "David was spotted in Tesco in North Berwick last night. He was also spotted on CCTV this morning in North Berwick.
“He hasn’t mentioned any links to this area before. If anyone else sees my son I would urge them to contact myself or the police.”
Those with information are asked to call police on 101.
