NORTH Berwick has been named one of the UK’s top seaside towns to visit by influential consumer guide Which?.
Which? asked thousands of its members to rate nearly 100 seaside towns and villages across the UK on a variety of topics, including the beach, attractions, scenery and value for money.
North Berwick appeared seventh on the list, with St Andrews the only other Scottish town included.
North Berwick received a score of 81 per cent.
In first place was Bamburgh in Northumberland. Tynemouth, also in the north-east of England, was second, while Dartmouth in Devon placed third.
