POLICE have appealed for information after the Musselburgh allotments and nearby cricket club were targeted by thieves.
Ten separately owned sheds at allotments located at Double Dykes, Inveresk, were broken into and damaged between 10pm on June 15 and 10am the next day.
The allotment association's container was also broken into and a Black and Decker strimmer set and socket set were stolen.
A storage container at nearby Musselburgh Cricket Club at Lewisvale Park was also broken into.
East Lothian Police said: "If anyone noticed anything suspicious, has been offered any item mentioned above or witnessed the incident, please contact Police Scotland on 101, referencing PS-20210616-1946."
