A PRESTONPANS man who threw food containers from the balcony of his home has been ordered to carry out unpaid work.
Dean Harvey, 36, acted aggressively and threw the food containers from the town’s Fowlers Court last month.
Harvey pleaded guilty to the offence and also admitted shouting and swearing during the incident.
He appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last Tuesday, where Sheriff Adrian Fraser placed him on an 18-month community payback order.
He was told he must complete 120 hours of unpaid work in the community and will be placed under the supervision of the social work department for the next 18 months.
Harvey pleaded guilty to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner by acting aggressively and throwing food containers from a balcony at Fowlers Court on May 8.
