A van similar to the one pictured inset was taken from a property in Tranent
A VAN filled with tools has been taken from outside a property in Tranent.
An appeal has now been launched to reunite the stolen vehicle with its owner. The silver Ford Transit Custom van, registration PF63 MXH, was taken overnight from a property on Fa’side Avenue between 10.30pm on Monday and 7am on Tuesday.
A number of tools were in the van at the time, which have all also been swiped.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers received a report of a stolen silver Ford Transit van which was taken from Fa’side Avenue in Tranent overnight between Monday, June 14, and Tuesday, June 15. Anyone who knows where the van is or knows who is responsible should contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 0563.”
