An investigation has been launched after an assault in Dunbar town centre
AN ASSAULT on Dunbar High Street on Saturday evening is being investigated by police.
A 27-year-old man was attacked by another man, who was spotted in a black Mercedes.
Constable Valentine, from Haddington Police Station, encouraged people to get in touch with any information about the incident, which took place at about 5.15pm.
They said: “Whilst we are following a positive line of enquiry, we would like to appeal to any members of the public who saw the incident and particularly those who may have filmed the altercation to contact 101 and quote incident number 2548 of Saturday (June 12, 2021)."
