THERE has been a confirmed case of Covid-19 at North Berwick High School, according to NHS Lothian.
Those who have been in close contact with the confirmed case have been identified, contacted and told to stay at home and isolate for 10 days.
They have also been told to get tested.
The school remains open and those told they are not a close contact and who remain well are asked to continue attending school as normal.

Katie Dee, interim director of public health and health policy at NHS Lothian, said in a letter to parents: “The school has multiple control measures in place against Covid-19, supported with regular testing of staff, to limit any risk of onwards transmission with the school environment.
“However, if there are any further cases of Covid-19 in the school, we will work with the school to ensure these individuals, and any of their close contacts, are advised to self-isolate promptly.”
There was previously a confirmed case at the school on May 22, with several reported in November and December last year.
