Musselburgh Gala will not take place this year
MUSSELBURGH Children’s Gala has been cancelled for the second year running due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The annual event, organised by Musselburgh & Inveresk Community Council, was due to be held next Saturday (June 12).
However, community councillors decided to cancel the gala, which usually attracts hundreds of people to Fisherrow Links.
Irene Tait, community council chairperson, said: “We felt that it was the right decision. Hopefully we can organise the gala for next year.”
