EAST Lothian residents can get a 'pizza the action' as Tranent’s new Domino’s store opens its doors today (Monday).
A total of 25 jobs have been created at the store on the town’s Bridge Street.
And the store has already shown it is part of the community with donations of pizza to local GP surgeries and care homes.
From the new vegan pizza to the ever-popular pepperoni and classic margarita, the store's first pizza it made, pizza lovers will be now able to get their Domino’s fix.
The store (pictured below) opened at 11am this morning and closes at 11pm, its opening hours for the rest of the week.
There is also a delivery service available to addresses in Haddington.
The county's only other Domino's store is in Musselburgh.
A member of staff told the Courier: “We are expecting it to be busy later tonight and have a lot of sales but it has been a good opening day so far.
“We are very excited to be open now, it has been a long time coming.
“It was a late one last night and the weeks leading up to today to get everything sorted. It is nice to get to that point and to finally be open.
“A lot of people walking past earlier this morning were wishing us good luck and things, which was lovely and really nice to hear.”
Recruitment is 90 per cent complete but those interested in a position in-store are asked to contact the recruitment team on 07584 200022.
