POLICE warnings have been issued to three people after they were found with cannabis in Haddington.
Community officers highlighted the cases to the town’s community council, which met on Tuesday.
On each occasion, a stop search was carried out under the Misuse of Drugs Act, with each search finding a positive result for cannabis.
The first incident took place on May 1 near The Vert, with the other two incidents, both on May 8, on Newton Port and Pencaitland Road.
Recorded police warnings were issued.
