LARGE boulders were thrown to smash the window of a town centre cafe in Dunbar.
Police are investigating after the Central Cafe, on the town’s West Port, and The Makery, on nearby High Street, were targeted by vandals over the weekend.
The window to the front door of The Makery was kicked and glass was damaged at about 10.20pm on Friday.
Then, between 11.30pm on Saturday and 7am the following the day, the Central Cafe was targeted, with police saying the window “was smashed after what appeared to be large boulders being struck or thrown against this”.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Positive lines of enquiry are currently being followed.
“Local community officers PCs Hutchison and Bamford are appealing for anyone who may have information about these incidents to contact them on 101, quoting incident 0938 of May 9.”
