FIRST Minister Nicola Sturgeon made her second visit to East Lothian in little over a week yesterday (Tuesday).

The leader of the SNP popped by Prestonpans on Tuesday to help campaign for local candidate Paul McLennan, who is hoping to become East Lothian's next MSP when voters go to the polls tomorrow (Thursday).

It follows Ms Sturgeon visiting North Berwick last Monday on the day coronavirus restrictions were relaxed.

Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar also visited East Lothian on Tuesday, as did Scottish Conservative leader Douglas Ross today (Wednesday).

The four candidates vying to succeed the retiring Iain Gray (Labour) as East Lothian's MSP are Euan Davidson (Liberal Democrat), Craig Hoy (Conservative), Paul McLennan (SNP) and Martin Whitfield (Labour)
