INCONSIDERATE cycling was among the issues raised during recent rural pop-up police events.

Community officers visited both Garvald and Humbie on Saturday, April 17.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland confirmed that both events were well supported and there were plans for more pop-up police initiatives throughout the year.

They said: “This allows members of the public to discuss problems and local policing issues without the need to attend at a police station.

“Amongst other things, some of the issues highlighted and discussed in the villages were speeding, signage and inconsiderate cycling.”
