To date, North Berwick Trust has awarded more than £655,000 in grants to support individuals and organisations living or operating within North Berwick, with 94 projects having been supported.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, the trust offered relief grants for local businesses, supporting 53 businesses and groups including the town’s resilience group.
North Berwick Trust also owns 36 acres of land, south of Cala Homes’ Law Gardens development, which are being turned into a country park.
Last year, 1,500 trees were planted on the land and there are plans for more community tree planting days and to encourage involvement from the community as to how local residents and organisations would like to use the land.
