NEW retail jobs are coming to North Berwick with the opening of two clothes stores on the town’s High Street.
Fashion and homeware chain Joules has announced it will open on Monday – the brand’s eighth store in Scotland.
The shop, at 99 High Street – formerly Woodcock Flooring – will stock men’s, women’s and children’s clothing and also homeware.
Tom Joule, Joules founder and chief brand officer, said: “We’re really looking forward to bringing our unique personality and style to shoppers in North Berwick over the coming months and can’t wait to open.
The new store has created six new jobs, which is great news too.’’
A selection of random customers in the shop on opening day will receive a gift card.
Also preparing to launch is outdoor clothing store Trespass, in the former TSB site at 41 High Street.
Its launch date is to be announced.
