A SECOND teenager has been arrested and charged following an alleged disturbance on Musselburgh High Street last Friday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 7pm on Sunday, April 18, we received a report of a teenage boy acting suspiciously in the Newbigging area of Musselburgh."
Police attended and said that the 16-year-old had been arrested and charged after allegedly being in possession of a knife.
Police added that there had been "further enquiries" about the youth allegedly being connected with the alleged incident last Friday.
The spokesperson added: "He has also been charged in connection with this incident and appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today, Monday."
A 14-year-old youth has also been charged following the alleged disturbance.

A Police Scotland spokesperson previously said: "Officers were called around 1.55pm on Friday, April 16, 2021 following the report of a disturbance on Musselburgh High Street.
"A 16-year-old male youth was taken by ambulance to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment to non-life-threatening injuries.
"A 14-year-old male youth has been charged in connection with the incident and further enquiries are ongoing into the incident."
