A MUSSELBURGH man who was caught at a property with the intention of committing a theft has been admonished.
John Scott, of Loretto Court, was spotted in the curtilage of the home on Broomhall Road in Penicuik in February last year.
He appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last December to admit the offence and sentence was deferred for him to be of good behaviour.
Last Friday, Sheriff Peter McCormack was told that the 32-year-old had stayed out of trouble since his last court appearance.
The sheriff issued an admonition on the charge.
Scott pleaded guilty to being found in the curtilage of a property in Penicuik where it might be inferred he had the intention of committing theft there on February 25 last year.
