DRUGS valued at up to £2,600 were recovered from a street in Haddington town centre.

Last Tuesday, police carried out a warrant and forced entry into an address on Brown Street.

The warrant followed intelligence that people there were involved in the sale and supply of drugs.

Drugs were recovered and a 38-year-old man was reported to the Procurator Fiscal.

The warrant was carried out under Operation Juneau, which works to reduce the harm caused by substance misuse in East Lothian.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “These actions are only possible with the continued support of the local community.

“If you suspect someone is involved in drugs supply, please contact us on 101, online or report this to a police officer.”
