AN ARRAY of knitted hearts in Musselburgh have been put in place to remember those who have lost loved ones over the past year during the Covid-19 pandemic.

They were made by the congregations of St Andrew’s High Church and Northesk Church, and the Musselburgh Yarn Bombers.

The hearts were attached to the fence at St Andrew’s High Church on High Street and could been see in other parts of the town.

Local care homes and schools have also received some.

A project spokesperson said: “The knitted hearts are for those who have lost loved ones over the past year and as we looked to the love at Easter.

"People in the community were welcome to take one home to remember their loves ones.”
