A PRESTONPANS man has been found guilty of assaulting a woman and two children following a trial at Edinburgh Sheriff Court.
Mark Kirk stood trial last week after denying the assaults at an address in Clermiston, Edinburgh, between 2006 and 2017.
Kirk, of Schaw Road, repeatedly seized the woman by the hair and struck her to the body with a toy before forcing her under a cold shower during the attacks.
He was also found to have assaulted two children by striking them with his hand and forcing both of them under a cold shower.
The 38-year-old pleaded not guilty to all the offences but was found guilty by Sheriff Douglas Keir following evidence being heard at the Capital court on Monday.
Sentence was deferred to later this month.
