ENQUIRIES are continuing into the death of a man in North Berwick following the discovery of a body in a property on Forth Street on March 23.

The body of a 66-year-old man was found at about 4.55pm.

At the time it was described as a “sudden death” that was being treated as unexplained.

Police have since confirmed that there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Enquiries are continuing into the death of a 66-year-old man on Forth Street, North Berwick, on March 23.

"There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a full report will be forwarded to the Procurator Fiscal.”
