A HISTORIC monument dating back more than 150 years has been vandalised.

Dunbar’s community policing team is investigating after the ‘Fishermen’s Monument’, at the town’s harbour, was vandalised during the night of March 31.

Grey or black paint appears to have been used to deface the rear of the monument.
